Festival gridlock chaos warning.


Road works road works road nplStraßenbauarbeiten pl  are set to cause a Festival traffic nightmare in Edinburgh Edinburgh (ĕd`ĭnbərə), city (1991 pop. 433,200) and council area, royal burgh, capital of Scotland, on the Firth of Forth. Leith, part of the city since 1920, is Edinburgh's port. .

Cable repairs are to be carried out on Queensferry Road, one of the capital's busiest streets.

The repairs - starting tomorrow and lasting four days - come as Edinburgh is packed with festival tourists.
