Festival celebrates African culture.A NEW festival of African culture is being launched in Liverpool Liverpool, city (1991 pop. 448,300), NW England, on the Mersey River near its mouth. Ithalia Forel, codirector of Movema world dance company, which is co-hosting the festival, says: "It's been a dream of mine to bring a professional black dance platform to my home town of Liverpool." Also helping to organise the festival are Square One Productions and Liverpool Somali Somali Any member of a large group of people occupying all of Somalia and parts of Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Kenya.
