Ferry hit shipwreck.


A CROSS-CHANNEL ferry with nearly 400 people aboard became grounded in severe weather after the crew failed to detect a charted wreck, a report said today.

A paper chart indicating the wreck off Deal in Kent was available on the P&O Ferries' Pride of Canterbury Pride of Canterbury is a cross-channel ferry operated by P&O Ferries. The ferry suffered severe damage to its port propeller but was able to reach Dover
