Ferguson Elevates Industry Veteran Levy to President.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Ferguson, CommonHealth's founding professional advertising and promotion unit, today announced the appointment of Rich Levy to president. Mr. Levy moves into this role from his prior position of chief operating officer for the agency.

Mr. Levy has a long history within the healthcare-marketing and communications arenas. He began his career at Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals as a pharmaceutical sales representative and after four years on the client side of the business, launched his pharmaceutical advertising career with KPR in New York City. He moved to Rolf Werner Rosenthal (RWR) in New York City and later tenured at Torre Lazur in Parsippany before starting his own agency in 1995, Adair-Greene Healthcare Advertising, based in Atlanta.

Mr. Levy oversaw the growth of that agency until it was purchased by Interpublic Group (IPG) in 2000. He continued on with IPG as CEO of Adair-Greene, Inc., managing both the consumer and healthcare advertising businesses until 2003.

Immediately prior to joining Ferguson in 2005, Mr. Levy held the position of president at Healthstar Advertising, based in Woodbridge, where he was responsible for the integration of several stand-alone agencies into the one Healthstar Advertising agency.

With Mr. Levy's appointment, David Chapman, former president of the agency and current managing partner at CommonHealth, will shift his energies to his CommonHealth role, with a focus on cross-company collaboration and results. Mr. Levy and the Ferguson agency will report directly in to him.
