The port of Santos The Port of Santos is located in the city of Santos, Brazil. As of 2006, it is the busiest container port in Latin America. [1]  in Sao Paulo state upgraded to a laser docking system earlier this year to cushion itself from potential shipping accidents and hard docking, which occurs when a ship comes to port too fast.
