Felten-Craig. (2003 Wedding Register).


Lakely Susanne Felten and Mark Malone Craig were united in marriage March 23, 2002, at six o'clock in the evening at First United Methodist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. Rev. Coy Hallmark officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Nuptial music was presented by Mr. Ken Turvey, organist; Ms. Mindy Bicknell, soloist; and Mr. Peter Lott, trumpeter.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Susan Steen Thome of Huntsville, Alabama, and Mr. John Allen Felten of Atlanta, Georgia. Her grandparents are Mrs. Clarence Lakely Steen of Pinola and the late Mr. Steenand, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Phillip Felten of Bremen, Indiana.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jerry Craig of Huntsville, Alabama. He is the grandson of Mrs. Ella Ree Craig Little of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama and the late Mr. William Malone Craig.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of silk radzimir designed by Angel Sanchez. The full ball gown featured a deep scooped neckline adorned with handmade crystals, embroidery, and a full cathedral train with drawstring bustle. Her cathedral-length veil was accented with a tiara made of Swarovski crystals beads and natural pearl starbursts. Serving as matron of honor was Nyoka Cox Martin.

Bridesmaids were Lynn Parker Coffey, sister of the groom; Wendy Steele Dilbeck, Kristen ZellerIves; Emily Ann Lochner; Sarah Marie Lochner; Jennifer Ward Perry; Katherine Leigh Woodward; and Robyn Adair Zeller. Junior bridesmaid was Allison Ballew Chandler. Flower girls were Sarah Rolfe DeMeis and Lauren Elizabeth Gannon. Program attendant was Kaitlynn Marie Gannon.

Best man was the groom's father, Robert Jerry Craig. Groomsmen were Johnny Warren Bachus, Jr., Craig William Hill, Harrel Drake Hill, Jerry Glynn Magee, Harvey Bland Morris, Jr., Shay Michael Thome, Thomas Allen Whitaker, and Scott Daniel Williams.

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the Historical Huntsville Depot Roundhouse. The guests were entertained by music from Familiar Faces of Nashville, Tennessee.

On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Heritage Club in Huntsville, Alabama.

Following a honeymoon trip to Little Dix's Bay, British Virgin Islands, the couple is at home in Huntsville.
