Feel the Glory of Nature at Nubra Valley and Gulmarg


Nubra Valley and Gulmarg are two popular tourist destinations of Jammu and Kashmir. Large number of tourists comes here from across the globe to see the soul stimulating natural beauty and enjoy the thrill of adventure sports activities.

Jammu and Kashmir is an enigmatic hill station of India aptly known as the Switzerland of Asia. It is the northernmost state of India situated amidst the Himalayan mountain ranges which blessed this state with a number of scenic destinations. The mesmerizing beauty of this place lies in its snow laden mountains, arresting valleys, charming lakes, meandering rivers, flowers meadows and adventure sports activities. Gulmarg

It is a cup shaped valley popularly known as the ''meadow of flower''. This is a beautiful flower bedecked valley where tourists come to see the scattered beauty of nature in its most pristine form. Gulmarg is located 56 km from Srinagar at an altitude of 2730 meters above sea level. This place is renowned for its lush green slopes, which fascinate tourists who come here from across the globe. During the spring season, colourful flowers like bluebells, tulips, buttercups, roses and daisies enveloped the entire valley which calls on a large number of tourists from across the globe.
In the winter season, this place becomes the most famous ski destination of the world. Large number of amateur to trained skiers came here from across the globe to enjoy the thrill and excitement of skiing. The popular tourist attractions of Gulmarg are:

Nubra Valley

It is another most picturesque valley of Jammu and Kashmir situated at an 10,000 ft. above sea level and 150 kilometres north of Leh. This is a few places where tourists can enjoy the beauty of nature at its best. It is popularly renowned as the Orchard of Ladakh because of its rich vegetation. This is among the most favoured trekking destination where trekkers from across the globe come to enjoy the fun, thrill and excitement of trekking, hiking, mountaineering and camping. With the onset of summer season, the whole valley is enveloped by the number of yellow and pink wild roses. Scores of tourists come here in this season to experience the colourful display of nature.
