* The basics of the federal child nutrition programs that can be used to feed children after school and during the summer;

* Step-by-step instruction on how schools, local government agencies and community organizations can participate in the federal nutrition programs; and a directory of state contacts for the programs;

* A description of model after school programs that participate in the federal nutrition programs; and

* A list of nutrition education curricula and ways to make nutrition education part of an after school or summer program.
