), a global Fortune 500 technology services leader, today announced a five-year outsourcing contract with Federal Express Corp. ("FedEx") to build, configure, and deliver FedEx Powership(R) Customer Automated Device (CAD) systems to selected FedEx accounts.

"Millions of customers a day depend on FedEx for on-time, reliable delivery -- so it is incumbent upon us to select a company that can provide a high standard of service," said Toby Redshaw, vice president, corporate systems development for FedEx. "Inacom was chosen for its superior capability to provide present and future customers with the customized, automated shipping systems that will enable them to streamline their logistics operations."

Under the terms of the agreement, Inacom will acquire and configure all FedEx CAD components -- hardware, software, modems, scales, and various instruments -- that comprise the FedEx Powership system. Potentially, Inacom may deliver approximately 5,000 CADs per month. The agreement with FedEx is consistent with Inacom's plan to grow its services business from 15% of total revenues to 25% of total revenues within five years, improve operating margins Operating Margin
