Federer, 27, is within three winning sets of landing his 14th major and his fourth Melbourne Park crown after whipping Roddick 6-2 7-5 7-5.

"I'm living the dream. You dream of playing the big tournaments, your dream is to win Wimbledon. If that comes around, you want more of it. I feel great right now with the way I'm playing and moving. I'm looking forward to the final," Fox Sports quoted Federer, as saying after the 127-minute contest.

Federer's latest victory against Roddick was his 16th in 18 matches against the hapless American, who was again driven to despair by his nemesis. (ANI)
