Michael Sherman Appointed President and Chief Marketing Officer

See federated database and federated directories.  Direct, today announced the establishment of an Office of the Principals at Fingerhut Companies, and the promotion of Michael Sherman to the new position of president and chief marketing officer of Fingerhut. In his new capacity, Michael Sherman will join with John Buck John Buck may refer to:

Within the Office of the Principals, which reports directly to Jeff Sherman, John Sherman, John, 1823–1900, American statesman, b. Lancaster, Ohio; brother of William Tecumseh Sherman. He studied law, was admitted (1844) to the bar, and practiced law several years in Mansfield, Ohio, before he moved (1853) to Cleveland.  Buck will maintain primary responsibility for finance, operations and administrative functions, while Michael Sherman will be primarily responsible for merchandising and marketing the mail order businesses of the Fingerhut Companies.

The changes are effective July 10, 2000.
