This lifestyle village was completed in August 1997, and is currently owned by Macerich. in Redmond, WA. The Redmond Town Center is an outdoor shopping center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into with a unique mix of retailers, restaurants, services and entertainment. The new 110,000 square-foot facility will be a two-level, full-line department store, excluding furniture. The store will offer moderate and better apparel, accessories and home merchandise. Construction is scheduled to begin in Spring 2002 with a store opening planned for Fall 2003.
