Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco 2005 Affordable Housing Advisory Council Annual Report.

[ILLUSTRATION OMITTED]

Institution: Federal Home loan Bank of San Francisco, San Francisco

The objective of the report was to show the institution's contribution in its own backyard, through the quarter-century evolution of the International Hotel in San Francisco. Through interviews, photographs and a historical timeline, the report presented the project's intriguing and controversial history, articulated the process of developing affordable housing within a large urban setting, and what it meant to residents, who now have a place to call home. The report demonstrated to the institution's primary audience (member institutions, housing developers and Congress) the interplay and cooperation among the vested parties to provide affordable housing for seniors.
