Faust goes to Kosovo. (Digest).


Eads Systems & Defence Electronics has decided to deliver its Faust advanced command and control system to the German Bundeswehr units deployed in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Kosovo following a successful trial in a out-of-area scenario. The Faust system provides users with a digital situational map that is automatically updated by messages traversing across command levels, Each vehicle connects al units by different secure communication lines (VHF, HF, satcom, ISDN or GSM) and can transmit its current position to a variety of receivers.
