Fauske & Associates, LLC Celebrate Twenty-Five Years of Consulting to the Chemical and Nuclear Industries; Company Announces Business Milestone and New Website.
Founded in 1980, by Hans Fauske, D.Sc. and Robert Henry, Ph.D., FAI was chosen by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) to serve as the principal research contractor for the development of the Design Institute for Emergency Relief Systems (DIERS) project. Since completing this project in 1985, FAI has worked closely with the industry to support utilization of state-of-the-art safety methodology.
Also recognized by the nuclear industry for its expertise in modeling severe accident phenomena and comprehensive plant evaluations, FAI was selected in 1981 by the Industry Degraded Core Rulemaking (IDCOR) organization to develop an engineering understanding of severe accident phenomena using mathematical models. Today FAI is a leading consultant to the nuclear power industry with its Nuclear Systems Group staffed by qualified engineers and scientists who participate in all facets of nuclear safety activities, health physics, and equipment qualification programs.
