Father's Day is off to a tee; A mini golf course is a gift with a difference.

Flowers may not be the first thing you think of when choosing a Father's Day gift but if golf is one of your dad's passions, think of combining the two. This week's step by step helps you create a mini golf course for your dad. We've chosen eucalyptus and hard ruskus foliage along with limonium and hardy protea foliage to create the "rough" and some flat moss for the "fairway".

You can also try bun moss, heather, alstromeria, or leucadendron. Add

some sand for bunkers and a flag to create the perfect setting for dad. If your dad is not a golf fan and you're looking for other flower ideas, choose bold architectural "boys' flowers" such as Edge of Nite heliconia, bamboo, anthurium or green goddess calla lilies. Combine with structured architectural leaves such as Aralia, Monstera or Strelizia.

Your local florist may also have some potted plant ideas in store - look out for Aloe Vera, Skyline Sansevaria or a Venus Flytrap.
