Champion Chicago Bears All-Pro Defensive Tackle, Tommie Harris, will unveil the Reggie White Fathead, during a live television appearance on Comcast Sports Net on August 21, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. The life-size Fathead, which measures an imposing 4ft wide and 6ft high, captures Reggie's game action during his Green Bay Packer era.

Harris, a member of the Crescent Rising Program's advisory board, says of the experience, "It is an honor to be a part of Crescent Rising and what we are doing in the aftermath of Katrina. Reggie was and still is a beloved sports icon and I believe fans will respond and support this important cause." He will also be autographing a limited number of the commemorative Reggie White Fathead images to be distributed to Katrina relief supporters making minimum contributions of $250 through the program's website www.crescentrising.com.

Crescent Rising is the most ambitious free demolition program serving the people of New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Bill Horn, Executive Director of the Reggie White Foundation announced Fathead's sponsorship. "The Foundation is grateful to Fathead for its generous commitment to Crescent Rising," said Horn. "Reggie enjoyed a tremendous relationship with millions of football fans throughout his career and we're confident that these special edition Fatheads will not only be a significant boost to our fundraising efforts for this important project, but will also allow fans to re-connect with Reggie."

Their work is crucial to the rebuilding of an incredible city. Reggie is missed dearly, but it's wonderful to know that we can all participate in helping the seeds of his inspirational legacy live on."

Crescent Rising believes that safe and efficient demolition is the critical first step towards dislodging the recovery process from its current stalemate. "By tearing down flooded homes and doing everything necessary to prepare the land for rebuilding, we'll re-energize the recovery effort and allow neighborhood reconstruction to take fold," said Horn.
