FastComm renews alliance and resale agreement with Diebold.


STERLING, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 11, 1997--

Renewal of Agreement for second year covers use of FastComm FRADs

in various applications by Diebold, Incorporated

FastComm Communications Corp. announced today that Diebold, Incorporated, has renewed its resale agreement with FastComm for Frame Relay Access Devices (FRADs). Diebold will continue to provide and maintain the FastComm products through its North American North American

 Sales and Service organization. The FRADs have been optimized for use with Diebold's automated teller machines automated teller machine (ATM), device used by bank customers to process account transactions. Typically, a user inserts into the ATM a special plastic card that is encoded with information on a magnetic strip.  (ATMs) and cash dispensers. Diebold also offers the FastComm products for corporate and branch office network applications.

Use of the FastComm products allows Diebold to offer higher value solutions to its current and new customers, such as replacing leased line and analog networks for ATMs with high speed digital connectivity; providing cost savings and higher performance.
