: FSCX) today announced the availability of the Spanish ISDN User Part The ISDN User Part or ISUP is part of the Signaling System #7 which is used to set up telephone calls in Public Switched Telephone Networks. It is specified by the ITU-T as part of the Q.76x series, ANSI (T1.113-YEAR) and Telcordia former Bellcore GR-246 series.  (ISUP (ISDN User Part) See SS7. ) to its flagship SignalPath(TM) 230 signaling gateway, extending FastComm's Signaling System 7 (SS7) reach into Spain and additional Latin American applications.

Spanish ISUP is a national SS7 signaling protocol for telephony networks deployed in many Latin American countries and is a variant of the International Telecommunications Union See ITU.

Spanish ISUP is such a variant that is neither compatible with the US ANSI (American National Standards Institute, New York, www.ansi.org) A membership organization founded in 1918 that coordinates the development of U.S. voluntary national standards in both the private and public sectors. It is the U.S. member body to ISO and IEC.  standard, ITU-T C7 standard, ETSI standard, nor other national standards making signaling conversion a necessity. The integration of the Spanish ISUP variant into the SignalPath(TM) 230 adds to the extensive FastComm library of signaling solutions enabling carriers, service providers, PTTs, system integrators and the new emerging Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) based carriers aggressively pursue more Latin American markets.
