Madsen gives an overview of the company. "We provide Voice-over-IP, and Voice-over-frame products, for both carrier and enterprise businesses. We provide signaling conversion equipment used by traditional carriers, as well as the new class of Voice-over-IP for long-distance carriers. And, we're also in the IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  data center space with a replacement product for IBM front end processors. Our market position is that we have products that are easy to use and very affordable."

Madsen explains, "Two years ago, IBM was marketing 12 versions of their front end processor. Now they're down to two, which gives the appearance that they're scaling back. Cisco is also a player in that space, but their product doesn't perform all the functions of a traditional front end processor. Our technology works both in a mode that both emulates the Cisco capabilities, and incorporates IBM's full suite of functionalities. We believe that we're uniquely positioned."

Looking forward, Madsen states, "We expect to show significant year-over-year revenue growth, both this year and next year. We have existing relationships with the traditional communications equipment manufacturers such as Nortel, Siemens, Ericsson, and Lucent. We intend to grow the networking business. The enterprise networking The networking infrastructure in a large enterprise with multiple computer systems and networks of different types is extraordinarily complex.
