Fast and Specific HSA and IgG Depletion; Vivascience AG Introduces Vivapure Anti-HSA/IgG Kit for Improved Biomarker Detection.

HANOVER, Germany -- Vivascience, a subsidiary of Sartorius AG, further expands the Vivapure sample preparation product line by introducing a new human albumin and IgG depletion kit.

The Vivapure Anti-HSA/IgG Kit utilizes a combination of a unique Anti-HSA antibody fragment and Protein G resin for specifically depleting albumin and IgG from human samples.

The kit provides (more than)95 % removal of albumin and IgG from 20 ul of human serum along with low non-specific binding of potential serum biomarkers. Albumin and IgG depleted de·plete

The method is quick, suitable for parallel processing parallel processing, the concurrent or simultaneous execution of two or more parts of a single computer program, at speeds far exceeding those of a conventional computer.  and offered in a ready-to-use kit.

With this kit, Vivascience expands its successful range of Vivapure sample preparation products: Vivapure Anti-HSA Kit for Albumin Depletion, Vivapure Anti-HSA Resin for Albumin Depletion from serum volumes up to 400 ul, and Vivapure Ion Exchange ion exchange

The Anti-HSA ligand also shows reactivity against rat and mouse albumin. As Protein G is also efficient at binding rat and mouse IgG, this kit can be utilized for processing samples from the three most frequently encountered sample sources in biomarker research.

The Vivapure Anti-HSA/IgG Kit contains Anti-HSA/IgG Affinity Resin, centrifugal columns which can individually be filled with the resin amount necessary, micro-centrifuge tubes, and binding buffer for preparing 12 serum samples. The spin column format allows the processing of a single sample within 20 minutes and is just as convenient for the parallel processing of several samples simultaneously using standard laboratory equipment.
