Fast ForWord Overview
Fast ForWord is a family of educational software products intended to enhance cognitive skills of children, especially focused on developing "phonological awareness" (discussed below).
 Reading is the newest addition to Scientific Learning's system of technology-based training programs designed to build language and reading skills. The program targets all students who are learning to read by focusing on the key skills that enable students to become fluent readers.

The program cross-trains core reading skills, including decoding de·code

The exercises adjust automatically to a student's skill level, and the program provides regular updates to the student and the teacher on each student's progress.
