NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 22, 2000

On June 20, Tucker Anthony Cleary Gull reiterated its strong buy on the shares of Internet security provider Pilot Network Services (Nasdaq:PILT PILT Payment in Lieu of Taxes ).

In both of the Barron's articles (published March 20 and June 19, 2000) Pilot is listed as a company that will shortly run out of cash. CIBC World Markets CIBC World Markets is the investment banking division of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. It helps governments, large companies, and other large institutions obtain capital and credit and is a primary dealer in U.S. Treasury securities.  reiterated its strong buy on Business Objects (Nasdaq:BOBJ BOBJ Business Objects SA ) on June 19. The French company, which provides software to analyze both warehouse and Web data, announced agreements with both IBM (NYSE NYSE

:IBM) and Siebel Systems (Nasdaq:SEBL SEBL Siebel Systems, Inc. (stock abbreviation, AMEX) ). Business Objects' analysis software has been integrated into software from those companies, largely because a competitor did not want to translate its software to make it compatible with Microsoft's (Nasdaq:MSFT) ActiveX language.
