Fast, Economical Tester for the Tiniest Leaks.

A new high-speed, low-flow leak tester from InterTech Development Co. (IDC), Skokie, Ill., offers an economical alternative for QC testing of specialized products with very low leak-rate tolerances (0.0100-0.2500 sccm). Model M-1075-44 can test up to 7000 parts/hr. It uses patented mass-flow sensing technology with a special low-flow transducer transducer, device that accepts an input of energy in one form and produces an output of energy in some other form, with a known, fixed relationship between the input and output. , thermally isolated air lines and reservoir, and custom-built test fixtures
This article is about the programming concept. For other uses, see Fixture (disambiguation).

Test fixture refers to the fixed state used as a baseline for running tests in software testing.

Eliminating a costly, hard-to-maintain helium mass spectrometer A helium mass spectrometer (often called a leak detector) or sniffer, is a scientific instrument, used to detect very small leaks, typically using a vacuum and injecting helium around a chamber or cavity.  and vacuum support equipment reduces cost by half to two thirds. (Helium use can also be a problem because some plastics absorb it.) The IDC unit provides almost instantaneous leakage measurements, so results are unaffected by line-pressure variations, according to according to
