Fashion icon inks expansion deal at Outerwear Center on 7th Ave.


Adams & Co. Real Estate recently brokered a 9-year, 3,154 s/f expansion at 463 Seventh Ave. for Paris-bred J. Mendel Ltd., one of the world's leading fashion companies.

J. Mendel now holds 25,154 s/f of space in the building. Celebrities such as Salma Hayek, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Hudson, Heidi Klum Heidi Klum (IPA /klʊm/) (born June 1, 1973[1]) is a German supermodel, actress, TV presenter, fashion designer, television producer and singer from Bergisch Gladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.  and Anne Hathaway Noun 1. Anne Hathaway - wife of William Shakespeare (1556-1623)

 have been prominently photographed in Mendel fashions.

The company maintains two boutiques in New York New York, state, United States

David Levy of Adams & Co. represented both the tenant and landlord in the transaction. Although details of the lease were undisclosed, asking rents were $36 per square foot.

The 22-story, 408,511 s/f building boasts a tenant roster that includes Redcats USA, Nordstrom and Bernardo Fashions.

Retail tenants include Andrew's Coffee Shop, Federal Express and Kara Kara (kär`ə), river, c.140 mi (230 km) long, NE European and NW Siberian Russia. It flows N from the N Urals into the Kara Sea, forming part of the traditional border between European and Asian Russia. It is navigable in its lower course.  New York.

The building features new windows and elevators and is home to many prestigious outerwear tenants.

"The Outerwear Center at 463 Seventh Ave. is the perfect home for J. Mendel," said Levy.

"The high-end company brings a lot to the building, while the center's numerous other outerwear tenants set J. Mendel up for continued success here."
