Fashion forward; It's all change on the fashion front with autumn/winter 2009 menswear collections bursting onto the high street. Francesca Craggs picks five key looks.CLASSIC is the buzzword for menswear this autumn/winter, with pieces you'll treasure for years to come. This year's offerings are more masculine and wearable than ever, with sharp suits, heavy knits, and the colour black dominating collections. Some trends, namely military and heavy overcoats, and statements knits, we've seen in recent years. However there are some new kids on the block. Heavy brown brogues n. pl. 1. Wearing like colours, ie: the same colour tie and shirt, on like is a trend that hasn't been seen since the 1990s, and won't appeal to all. Another look that demands an acquired taste is velvet, which appeared on everything from suit jackets to shoes. BROWN BROGUES There's nothing more classic than a pair of brown brogues. Wear with everything from a sharp suit to slim jeans. Jai heavy brogue, pounds 150, from French Connection.
