Fashion company expands to 24,000 s/f on fifth.

Adams & Co. Real Estate recently brokered a nine-year lease expansion at 411 Fifth Ave. for Van Zeeland Inc., a premier fashion accessories company.

Van Zeeland is taking a total of 7,300 s/f of new space in the building, bringing its total holdings to 24,000 s/f.

Founded in 2004, Van Zeeland Inc. has quickly become a primary resource in the fashion accessories industry. Sold in over 1,300 stores nationally including QVC and major internet retailer eBags. com, the company specializes in high-quality, trendsetting hand bags, as well as sunglasses, belts and small leather goods.

David Levy of Adams & Co. represented the tenant and the landlord in the transaction. Although details of the lease were undisclosed, the asking price for the space was $40 psf. The ll-story building is conveniently located in the Transit Triangle. The 110,000 square-foot property boasts 24-hour access and recent renovations include new elevators and windows. Notable tenants include I. Shalom & Company, Bollman Hats and E. Gluck Corp. with retail tenant Citibank.
