COLIN Farrell has been scooped in the Hollywood bad boy stakes by ageing star Jack Nicholson John Joseph Nicholson (born April 22 1937), known as Jack Nicholson, is a three time Academy Award winning American actor internationally renowned for his often dark-themed portrayals of neurotic characters. .

The 31-year-old Dubliner may once have been famed for his sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle - but movie fans only rate him as the sixth biggest hellraiser.

Shining actor Nicholson, 71, has trounced Tinseltown's young pretenders after racking up 50 years of partying and womanising.

More than 1,300 film buffs The name Buffs can mean:

  • Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes
  • Buffs Company, a Rifle Company of The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada that parades out of Dalton Armoury in Scarborough.
