Dr. Umer Farooq Baloch has directed EDOs of Lahore division to improve the performance of Rural Health Centres (RHCs) and submit him reports fortnightly fort·night·ly adj. According to health department sources, he directed the Executive Director Officers (EDOs) of Lahore, Kasur, Nankana Sahib and Sheikhupura fall in Lahore division to provide free health care facilities at all RHCs in line with the directions of Chief Minister Punjab and strict disciplinary action be taken against negligent officers. He also directed the doctors and LHVs of all RHCs to provide available health care facilities to the visiting patients and do not refer them to private clinics. He warned that strict disciplinary action would be taken against the responsible officials if he receive any complaint in this regard in future.
