Farmers Insurance Awards New BMW to Lucky Winner of the "Are You the 1?" Sweepstakes.

Car Will Be Presented During Special Ceremony October 22

LOS ANGELES -- Tia Fishback of Los Angeles won a new BMW series 128 after registering in the "Are You The 1?" sweepstakes, as a part of the Farmers Insurance Group Angel City Classic. The Classic is a football game tradition which features two historically black college and university powerhouses.

Fishback will be presented the new BMW on October 22, 2008 at 10 A.M. at Long Beach BMW, 2998 Cherry Ave, Signal Hill, CA 90755. Attending the presentation will be Farmers executives, KTWV 94.7-the Wave and their street team, the Long Beach Press Telegram and local community.

Thousands of Southern Californians registered on the "Are You The 1?" sweepstakes Web site for a chance to win the vehicle. But there could only be one winner, and that was Fishback. Her name was announced live on FOX Sports Net during the telecast of the Classic and she was shown on the video board along with Kenneth Adams, Farmers Emerging Markets, Neil Okun, general manager, Long Beach BMW and salesperson, Byron Jackson.

"When I heard my name called at the Coliseum that day, I couldn't believe it. It's like time stood still for a second and then it really sank in that I won," Fishback exclaimed. "I got up and started to make my way to the front of the stadium where the car was located. Shortly after that I was greeted by Farmers Insurance and Long Beach BMW reps that helped me get ready for the video shot, inside the stadium as I waived to the crowd."
