In March, 2000 he was elected to the position of Chief Operating Officer of Farmers Specialty, responsible for marketing, product development, pricing, underwriting and direct sales for mobile home, recreational vehicles and basic products. He was also responsible for the company's financial functions. Effective March 1, 2003, Mr. Woudstra became President of Farmers Specialty. In April, 2005, he was elected to his recent position of Executive Vice President-Property and Casualty Operations for Farmers where he has been responsible for personal lines, commercial lines, specialty, claims and service operations. Mr. Woudstra holds a Bachelor's degree from Ferris State University Ferris State University consists of eight colleges: Allied Health Sciences, Arts and Sciences, Business, Education and Human Services, Optometry, Pharmacy, Technology, and Kendall College of Art and Design.
