Farmers Independent Weekly. (At Closing News).
Six former Manitoba Co-operator staff members launch a new provincial farm weekly, Farmers' Independent Weekly. The first issue will be published this summer. Led by Editor / Publisher John Morriss, the staff includes journalists Allan Dawson, Laura Rance and Lorraine Lorraine (lôrĕn`), Ger. Lothringen, region and former province, NE France, bordering in the N on Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany, in the E on Alsace, in the S on Franche-Comté, and in the W on Champagne. It is now divided into four departments—Moselle, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, and Vosges. In Moselle dept. Stevenson. Other employee-owners include associate Publisher and Production Manager Conrad MacMillan and Marketing Manager Lynda Tityk. The new tabloid will feature farming news and rural views for all farmers, regardless of their scale, their type of operation or their farming philosophy.
