Farm Credit Council Services Inc.


Farm Credit Council Services Inc., Denver, Colo., names Roger Shaffer president and CEO. Shaffer succeeds Michael Frey, who previously announced his intention to retire in early 2004. Shaffer was senior vice president of the consulting services group and chief marketing officer at Farm Credit Council Services. He has more than 20 years of experience consulting with organizations. Previously, Shaffer was vice president of sales and agency director for a private management-consulting firm representing Wilson Learning Corporation in the Rocky Mountain region. He joined the predecessor of today's FCCServices, Farmbank Services, in 1983 and was named vice president of sales and marketing in 1998 and senior vice president of consulting services group in 1999.
