NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 22, 2002

Fargo Electronics, Inc. (Nasdaq:FRGO) today announced that it will hold a news conference Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. in Room 264 of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is a collection of buildings in New Orleans, Louisiana. The lower end of building one is located 500 m (1640 feet) upriver from Canal Street on the banks of the Mississippi River. Named after former mayor of New Orleans Ernest N.  here. The news conference will be held in conjunction with the CardTech/SecurTech Conference and Exhibition, which opens that day.

Under the theme "We're Changing The Face Of Card Printing," Fargo, will reveal a collaboration with two major technology partners, and make a major announcement concerning ID card printing.
