Fargo Electronics Announces 2001 Year-End Conference Call for February 20 at 10:00 A.M.; Names Tony J. Dick Acting CFO.

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 5, 2002

Fargo Electronics, Inc. (Nasdaq:FRGO) today announced that it will hold a teleconference to discuss 2001 Year-End and 4th Quarter 2001 results on Wednesday, February 20, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Central Time. Quarterly and year-end results will be released before the market opening on February 20.

Dialing 800-218-4007 prior to the start time will access a listen-only broadcast of the conference call. A link to a simultaneous webcast of the conference call will be available at www.fargo.com in the Corporate Info/Investor Info section, and also at http://www.visualwebcaster.com/event.asp, ID # 305

Gary R. Holland, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fargo, Jeff Upin, Vice President and General Counsel, and Tony Dick, acting CFO See Chief Financial Officer. , are scheduled to make the presentation.
