ISLAMABAD, August 24, 2009 (Balochistan Times): The first death anniversary of renowned poet Ahmed Faraz Ahmed Faraz (Urdu: احمد فراز) (January 14, 1931 in Nowshera - Pakistan) is considered one of the greatest modern Urdu poets of the last century and greatest living Urdu poet of present times. would be observed today (Tuesday). Prayers will be offered for the departed soul at the late poets grave in H-8 graveyard. Literary and cultural organizations of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad will place floral wreath at the grave.
