Due to the nature of mineralization at each deposit, their relative locations, and the ability to "modular mine" each deposit separately, several mine development alternatives are available. As a result, numerous "trade-off" studies are underway to ensure that the optimal development plan is selected for the Pre-feasibility Study. Due to the necessity to conduct these studies prior to commencement of the Pre-feasibility Study, as well as integrating the very successful 2004 El Largo discovery into the overall mine development plan, management has changed the date of completion of the pre-feasibility study to the first quarter of 2006. Dick Whittington said, "We are making persistent progress at Campo Morado. Delineation drilling at last year's major discovery - the significant expansion of the El Largo deposit - continues to increase the size of this deposit and this is challenging our mine development assumptions. Metallurgical bulk sample drilling has been a key focus so far this year and I am very pleased with the preliminary results of the metallurgical testwork program, which support our choice of processing methodology for the project. Additionally, the Pre-feasibility Study is offering numerous options for us to consider as we develop the optimal overall mine development plan. Furthermore, a number of priority drill targets remain to be drilled, giving the project significant upside potential Upside potential The amount by which analysts or investors expect the price of a security may increase. upside potential The potential price or gain that may be expected in a security or in a security average, generally stated as the dollar from any new discoveries. Campo Morado continues to be an exciting exploration and development opportunity for the Company and we remain on track to open a mine by 2009." ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS J.R.H. (Dick) Whittington, President and CEO Forward Looking Information This release includes certain statements that may be deemed "forward-looking statements forward-looking statement A projected financial statement based on management expectations. A forward-looking statement involves risks with regard to the accuracy of assumptions underlying the projections. ." All statements in this release, other than statements of historical facts, that address future production, reserve potential, exploration drilling, exploitation activities and events or developments that the Company expects are forward-looking statements. The likelihood of future mining at Campo Morado is subject to a large number of risks and will require achievement of a number of technical, economic and legal objectives, including obtaining necessary mining and construction permits, completion of pre-feasibility and final feasibility studies, preparation of all necessary engineering for pits and processing facilities as well as receipt of significant additional financing to fund these objectives as well as funding mine construction. Such funding may not be available to the Company on acceptable terms or on any terms at all. There is no known ore at Campo Morado and there is no assurance that the mineralization at Campo Morado will ever be classified as ore. For more information on the Company and the risk factors inherent in its business, investors should review the Company's Annual Information Form at www.sedar.com.
