"We want to expand the Internet's use beyond WWW WWW or W3: see World Wide Web.

These should not be confused with the first three releases of Windows NT, which were also given "3.x" version numbers, i.e.

to view the screen of another Internet user. This enables colleagues to collaborate across the Internet. For example, a distributor in London may London May (born 20 July 1967), joined Samhain in the summer of 1985.

Previously, he had been the drummer for Reptile House. He remained with the band until February 1987, when Chuck Biscuits joined the band and London was asked to leave.

Security features are built-in to turn "on" and "off" this access. Only the person whose screen is being viewed will have mouse control. For more robust collaboration, users can upgrade to Timbuktu Pro, which has two-way control and other integrated collaboration tools.

The second applet is FlashNote. Like the "send" function in Timbuktu Pro, it enables Internet users to send files and short messages to each other without going through mail servers and mail gateways. This eliminates problems many people have experienced attaching files to email, providing immediate and guaranteed delivery of files and messages.

The Timbuktu applets will interoperate with each other across Macs and Windows PCs, and with the complete Timbuktu Pro software family. Farallon's proven IP networking expertise, its patented cross-platform Timbuktu technology, and its creative electronic marketing and distribution techniques will enable the company to create a new communication system over the Internet. "Netscape revolutionized the use of the Internet by popularizing web browsing. Like Netscape, we are expanding the use of the Internet by providing the first person-to-person collaboration tools," added Lefkof.

NetManage Relationship

Farallon is also announcing a strategic relationship with NetManage to distribute the Look@Me applet bundled in NetManage's popular Chameleon product family. Chameleon provides over 50 TCP/IP TCP/IP
