figures show the 2,376-resident suburb suburb, a community in an outlying section of a city or, more commonly, a nearby, politically separate municipality with social and economic ties to the central city. In the 20th cent. near Disney World is 88 percent
white, 1 percent black, and 7 percent Hispanic, in a county whose
respective percentages are 59, 6, and 29. Experts say Celebration is an
example of a national trend away from suburban integration, toward
people living next to others who look like themselves.
