Fantasy becomes reality for Lowell fishing enthusiast.

IT TOOK A LITTLE BIT OF EFFORT to talk Jim Collins into signing tip to play FLW's Fantasy Fishing Tournament. He saw it as nothing more than a waste of time, but relented after much pleading Asking a court to grant relief. The formal presentation of claims and defenses by parties to a lawsuit. The specific papers by which the allegations of parties to a lawsuit are presented in proper form; specifically the complaint of a plaintiff and the answer of a defendant plus any  form his daughter.

From now on Collins won't hesitate to enter.

Collins won $100,000 by playing the online game, picking the right combination of anglers to win the contest the first time he tried it. Collins, a Lowell resident, was awarded the check after playing in conjunction with the FLW's Wal-Mart Open on Beaver Lake Beaver Lake may refer to:

"That's about as easy as it gets," Collins said when asked if he could think of an easier way to make money.

Collins said he plans to use the money to help his daughter get through college. He also wants to use some of the money in helping raise his 2-year-old grandson. At some point, the fishing enthusiast might even buy himself a Ranger Ranger

Collins actually had someone else do the online work for him. He merely mentioned which anglers he wanted and his daughter, Donna Jo, made the picks for him.

Now Collins is eligible to win $1 million. That's the award for the person who accumulates the most points over the seven-tournament FLW season, which wraps up in August. More than 4,000 prizes totaling as much as $7.3 million will be awarded during the FLW season.

"My daughter kept egging me on to play," said Collins, "so I finally entered. I'm so excited, I still can't believe I won--especially on my first try."

Never before had Collins done anything similar. He'd never played fantasy football or any other similar activities and spent little time online. It wasn't until his daughter mentioned the game he realized FantasyFishing.com even existed.

'I'd never done anything like this," Collins said. 'I'd always thought it was a waste of time. I'll be playing more and more all the time."
