Fans get a Hui do you do.
The chairman then went on an impromptu walkabout around the pitch, accompanied by vice-president Michael Wiseman, and was mobbed by well-wishers.
Hui took the microphone and in an upbeat statement, punctuated by big smiles, said: "Hello St Andrew's!
"We are very proud to become part of this great club and the Blues family. Thank you for your fantastic support and the warm welcome you have given us all.
"This club has a proud history but we can look forward to an even more exciting future."
"It's great to see you all today.
Enjoy the game and Keep Right On. I love you all!" With that he was given a rousing cheer and embarked on his circuit of the pitch back towards the directors' box in the Kop stand.
Hui shook hands with fans who clambered down to the front of the gangways.
He hugged one or two, and roared enthusiastically in reaction to their response.
Hui also made a presentation to Wiseman to celebrate his appointment as vice-president, which maintains the link with the Wiseman dynasty of the past.
