Family ties.
My brother has autism, and when I read "Broken Dreams,
Unbreakable Bonds" [Real Girl, A/S '07], I nearly cried. I
showed it to my morn, and she did cry! I love my brother, my family and
you, GL.

Thank you for the article about autism. However, I was disappointed
by your point of view. My brother, too, has autism. But instead of
grieving the loss of dreams my family had for him, we channeled that
energy into teaching and accepting him. An autistic child has his own
dreams, and his family has their own personal goals and expectations.
