Fall out.AS a reader of For A Change over many years, I have enjoyed the improvements and changes in its style and presentation. I appreciate the wide ranging topics of the articles and that inclusion of advertisements have been resisted. I was dismayed that there was a fall-out of advertising material from the latest issue. The special offers through Ink news collective may be just a passing phase; Friends of the Earth, however, presents its message about the environment with political overtones. I hope FAC readers will be left to chose their own environmental and political stance without having to add more material to their waste bin. George Richards, Norwich, England George Richards is not the only reader to express concern about our contribution to his recycling bin. The leaflets in the last issue, and the one in this one, are an experiment--the result of reciprocal promotion arrangements, which we hope will increase subscriptions to "For A Change: We're not planning to make a habit of it. |
