Mix that with Cassie's roller-coaster relationship with moody Mike Callahan and the underlying mutual attraction going on between Cassie and her friend, psychologist Joe Lancaster, and you've got a hole-in-one. Cassie is a delightful character, with a dry wit and fresh perspective. Her personal insights, as well as her sessions with her shrink, will amuse the reader throughout the book. Her amateur sleuthing may lead to dangerous territory, but Cassie proves a real penchant for solving complicated mysteries. Golf fan or not, this is one book all mystery lovers will enjoy reading, with plenty of twists and turns and suspicious characters. Highly recommended. |
