Along with the other municipalities on the island of Montreal, it was merged with the city of Montreal on January 1, 2002 by the provincial government. -- Fairstar Explorations Inc. ("Fairstar"), announces that it has obtained a provisional interlocutory injunction Noun 1. interlocutory injunction - injunction issued during a trial to maintain the status quo or preserve the subject matter of the litigation until the trial is over temporary injunction (the "provisional injunction") issued by the Superior Court of the Province of Quebec prohibiting International Taurus Resources Inc. ("Taurus") from: 1. Dealing with its interest in the Fenelon Joint Venture without a third party acquirer first entering into an agreement in writing with Fairstar in respect of the same; and 2. Diluting the interest of Fairstar in the Fenelon Joint Venture. The provisional injunction will stay in effect until November 12, 2004, at which time Fairstar will seek to obtain an interlocutory injunction preserving the provisional injunction until a final judgment is issued in the proceedings which it has brought against Taurus.
