Fairchild Semiconductor Reinforces Green Power Solutions with Demonstration of Its Multi-Industry, Multi-Application, Energy Efficient Products at eMex Suzhou 2006.

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine -- Fairchild Semiconductor (NYSE: FCS), the leading global supplier of products that optimize system power, will demonstrate its expertise and solutions across four key product application areas: power AC/DC conversion (from 3W to 300W); ultra portable; motor control; and consumer products at eMex Suzhou 2006 (18-21 October 2006).

Exhibiting at Booth 4O09 in the Semiconductor/Electronic Components hall, Fairchild, The Power Franchise([R]), will highlight products that deliver green solutions to its customers. Visitors will see demonstrations of key applications making use of Fairchild's latest power devices, including a portable DVD player, plasma screen, CRT TV, air conditioner and e-bike. The booth also contains five interactive plasma panels so visitors can learn how Fairchild's technologies can help with their own particular product designs.

Highlights include:

* the power board area - covering AC/DC adaptors, open frame power supplies, chargers, and power supplies for color TVs, set-top boxes, DVDs and LCD applications;

* the ultra portable area - with Fairchild products ranging from uSerDes[TM] and IntelliMAX[TM], to video filters, such as the FMS6151, and a new multi-media switch, the FSA201;

* motor applications; and

* consumer applications - addressed by Fairchild's FAN7710, a ballast control IC and integrated video filters such as the FMS6346, FMS6203, and FMS6141 devices.
