Industry-leading benefits include:

* System reliability--Fairchild's HVICs feature advanced level-shift circuitry for industry-leading, high-side driver operation with negative VS swings of up to -9.8V (at VBS See VBScript.  = 15V). This results in the devices' unique ability to eliminate an extra diode, unlike other HVICs on the market. In addition, Fairchild's HVICs provide excellent noise immunity by utilizing a common-mode dv/dt noise-canceling circuit;

* Power savings--These devices boast the industry's lowest quiescent currents for extremely low power consumption, a particularly important feature in motor applications; and

* Stable performance--Exhibiting the market's lowest temperature dependency, achieved by optimizing the internal circuit design, these HVICs deliver full functionality at either cold or hot ambient temperatures, which guarantees stable performance in a wide range of applications.

To further enhance efficiency, these HVICs feature a floating channel designed for bootstrap operation to +600V. They also increase reliability by providing under-voltage lockout lockout, intentional closing up of a company, factory, or shop by an employer to prevent employees from working during a strike or labor dispute.
