Fair value, Sarbanes-Oxley focus of FERF program.Two of finance's hottest topics--fair value and the costs and benefits of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act--will be the focus of "Academe Meets Practice," a complimentary one-day conference November 15 at Baruch College in New York. The event is being sponsored by Financial Executives Research Foundation (FERF), in conjunction with Baruch's Stan Ross Department of Accountancy and the Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity.
