Hours at the Elmwood, Houma and LaPlace locations are 8 a.m. until 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 8 a.m.-3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Thibodaux's hours are 8 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Covington will open every day except Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the end of simulcasting. Fair Grounds Race Course, the nation's third-oldest Thoroughbred racing facility, has been in operation since 1872.
