 agents to sign employment tax forms using alternative signature methods, including mechanical devices and computer software.

The new rules apply to any form in the 940 series; Form 1042, Annual Withholding Tax The amount legally deducted from an employee's wages or salary by the employer, who uses it to prepay the charges imposed by the government on the employee's yearly earnings.  Return for U.S. Source Income of Foreign Persons; Form 8027, Employer's Annual Information Return of Tip Income and Allocated Tips; Form CT-1, Employer's Annual Railroad railroad or railway, form of transportation most commonly consisting of steel rails, called tracks, on which freight cars, passenger cars, and other rolling stock are drawn by one locomotive or more.  Retirement Tax Return; and any variant of these forms.
